OUR STORY
Forge began in 2015 with TSA-approved locks built to make travel more secure. Over the years, millions of travelers have trusted Forge to protect the things they carry.
But locks only solve part of the problem. Things still get left behind, misplaced, or found by someone who wants to return them.
That became clear through Eugene.
When his wallet disappeared at a busy airport, the tracker inside could show us the general areaābut it couldnāt identify the wallet among everything else that had been lost.
Later, Eugene left his water bottle on a school bus. This time, the driver found it, scanned its QR code, and contacted us directly.
That simple scan did something location alone could not: it connected the finder with us.
That moment inspired ForgeTagāa simple, private recovery system designed to help honest finders reconnect lost belongings with the people who own them.
Today, ForgeTag carries forward the same principles Forge was built on: practical design, dependable protection, and technology that solves real problems without making life more complicated.
